Ava Riley Yates joined us on Tuesday, December 30th at 5:42 a.m. She weighed a slight 6 pounds, 5 ounces and was a giant at 18.5 inches. For those of you who knew about our name ambiguity, we decided on her name about 10 minutes after she arrived. (Although, mom claims Ava was always the front runner!)
Definitely... Ava was the first name you mentioned to me. Sometimes you gotta go with your gut reaction. Can't wait to meet her! I look forward to watching her grow up through this blog site :)
